Girls 2022 Tournament

Punahou junior Raya Nakao won medalist honors at the David S. Ishii/HHSAA girls golf championship May 7. Nakao shot rounds of 67-64 at the Ka`anapali Kai Course. Her 9-under-par total was a new state record. The Buffanblu won the team title for the 12th time in 14 years. They overcame a four-shot deficit in the final round to beat Kalani by four shots. Falcon junior Kara Kaneshiro finished second individually.
